HATS
Click on each link below find pictures of our hats which are custom made for Squadrons & Shipmate's members. They can only be ordered through this organization. These hats are all made of cloth and there are no plastic straps. There are also no patches or emblems sewn onto the hats; all the images are directly embroidered onto the hat. You will see there is no half-moon opening in the back of the hat where many people find themselves with a half-moon sunburn on the back of their head. There is a different type of plane flying off the aircraft carrier based on the era of the hull number. For example, the CVBs have a Hellcat flying off the deck. You will also see a Phantom and a Tomcat. Our corporation name is embroidered on the back of the hat. The hats come in 2 sizes, small/medium and large/extra large. If your hat size is 7¼ or smaller, you will need a small/medium size hat; anything larger, you will need a large/extra large size hat.
