This page is dedicated to all members and potential members who did not live to see our long awaited organization. Please let us know if you have a family member who you want to be listed on this page. If your spouse, father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, child, or any direct ancestor to you, served on U.S.S. Midway or U.S.S. Franklin D. Roosevelt or in a squadron that was ever assigned to these two ships, you are eligible to join this association and become a regular member. Only one direct descendant or one parent can have voting rights in the organization after both the original member or potential original member and spouse have passed. All other descendants or parents may become auxiliary members.
The information we have was researched through all available public records. If any of this information is incorrect please let us know. It will be the policy within this new organization to never forget the names of the people who served aboard these two ships or in squadrons assigned to these ships. In time this list will naturally become very large but it is our intention to maintain it as long as possible. We want to always remember our comrades and not drop their names from the association roster after our members have passed. Some of the names have missing information only because it has not been located yet. If you know, for sure, the information we need we would like your help. We intend to update this list periodically and publish the updates on the last day of each month. The latest update to this present list was December 1, 2010.
